Noah's Ark

God saw that the people on earth were very wicked, their hearts were always evil and regretted that he had made humankind on the earth. God brought a flood of water over the earth to destroy every living thing except Noah, his family and a male and female for each kind of bird, livestock and animal creeping on the ground.

The detailed instructions for building the Ark was given to Noah by God. The Ark was built of gopher wood and had rooms inside. It was smeared inside and outside with pitch. The Ark was 450 feet long, 75 feet wide and 45 feet high with three decks, a door on the side and an 18 inches opening below its roof all way around.
